To access hos the model looks like, log-in in COMPAS.

Go to tutorial directory of the model in COMPAS at

/home/work1b/hseo/Couple_RsmRoms_tutorial
Here is a tar file.

Download it and change your paths.

Throughout this document, I will use sample case, which I call “indian25”.
(Indian ocean simulation at 25 km resolution both RSM and ROMS).

let dx=dy in RSM if possible.....

Note: One needs an substantial knowledge of shell-scripting, Fortran, and the Matlab. Also I assume that you know individual RSM and ROMS model very well. Otherwise, the right approach is to learn RSM and ROMS first. This document only deals with the setting up the coupled model.

The SCOAR model is currently running on COMAS Linux cluster. However, both RSM and ROMS can be running on virtually all kinds of different machines, and the Fortran codes in coupler can be compiled easily.

Note Daily couping works fine, but 5-day and 3hrly coupling haven't been update for a long time. Be aware of this!
